The recently modernised, south facing 4* cottage has a large open plan living/ dining room, complete with wood burning stove, a ground floor double bedroom, complete with en-suite ‘wet room’ suitable for the less able and a twin bedded and a small double bedded room with bathroom upstairs. Outside there is spacious decking, ideal for relaxing or watching the wildlife in the garden and along the nearby stream.  The cottage is centrally heated and very comfortably furnished with Sealy beds (made for your arrival), fluffy towels, a modern fitted kitchen with microwave, dishwasher, fridge with freezer compartment, washing machine and a wood burning stove (with a generous supply of logs).  There is a TV and DVD player and a ‘welcome pack’ of provisions is provided for your first night.  All fuel charges are included in the price.

Parking is available right outside the cottage and there is plenty of space beside the stream to enjoy the views.  Our resident heron is a frequent visitor and the badger colony can be seen from the cottage on most warm evenings using the telescope provided.
